A few thoughts to ponder on

Thinking is a part of the learning process
In UTP, there were lots of events being carried out. At the point of view of an observer, some events were considered as successful and some were not. Being the most recent successful event in UTP, TEC 2008 is the champion at being a successful event. Handled by Mr Amir Hamzah together with an absolutely hardworking team, they had managed to overcome all difficulties and an excellent event was born.
Of course, each event may run into different kinds of obstacles, but however it may be faced, the team will always make it through no matter what.
To make sure the event we are conducting is at its straight journey, we had to take into account lots of details.
However, I’m not teaching you on how to handle an event, but I’d like to point out a few things that I’ve noticed which might not be deliberately forgotten.
1) Plan every detail in the planning stages before you implement them
2) Give due dates on every aspect of details that needs to be achieved
3) Always remember that success is where opportunities and preparations meet
4) Make a sharp, quick but precise decision
There would be lots of other outlooks to be taken into account. However, for this matter, time management is one of the most important things.
Please note that all of this comes only from my personal observation. If any of you would like to add more, you are more than welcome to do so.

TEC is sure the greatest successful event this sem. I totally agreed (:. Here are my observations:
1. TEC members, especially theirs HICOM, are really dedicated to the event. Some just gave TEC the HIGHEST priority.
3. They really view TEC as a BIG event. Every committee have very very clear target of TEC which make themselves always motivated and prepared.
2. The established TEC event itself gives the positive impression towards sponsored company since last year event.
3. They can provide clear and sexy offer to the sponsoring company that meet every company main agenda.
4. Full support and back up from professional individual/advisory/UTP itself.
5. The TEC gives better promising benefits to be gained by its committee.
If we were going to establish such great event from a starch. We must really have good planning plus committed HICOM & committee. These two are the most important regardless the event name and establishment. with poor planning and not committed committee, established event will crumble too.
Some event in UTP are done just to full-fill the club/event criteria for the sake of their organizations and always taken for granted (just to mention some, not all).
